Thank you Samantha Prince for coming to chat with us today. Why do you think Margaret Daley chose  you to represent her?

 

Because Dangerous Pursuit wouldn't be possible without me. It was my twin brother who went missing in the Amazon.

 

Tell us a little about yourself?

I own a bookstore in New Orleans where I have lived all my life. To see different places in the world, I read books. I love reading so I have a great job, telling customers about good books. I have a twin brother and when he went missing, I had to try and find him. I ended up in the Amazon so totally out of my element and worse, someone was after me—I think because of my brother.

 

What is your birth date?

Let's just say over 21.

 

Where do you live? What is it about that area that drew you?

New Orleans is where I live and I love my hometown. I have relatives and friends here as well as my business.

 

What’s your favorite music?

I like a lot of different kinds of music, but I guess my favorite is pop.

 

Will we be seeing more of you or are you stepping out of the lime light?

I have a minor role in the next book (about my brother)—Dangerous Interlude

 

What do you do to relax?

Read!

 

Tell us about Brock, what drew you to him?

He agreed to be my guide and spoke English, but I quickly discovered he was very capable of protecting me in dangerous situations.

 

 

What your favorite ice cream flavor, chocolate, vanilla, or strawberry?

Vanilla.

 

Do you feel the cover accurately represents you?

In the middle of the jungle after a harrowing experience Brock gave me an orchid. With all that was going on, it was the sweetest gesture. So yes, the scene of the jungle and the orchid represents the story.
