Happy Birthday

Thank you for Stopping by my Blog site on the

For those who don't know me let me introduce myself. As you already gathered my name is Dominique Eastwick. I am a Wife, Mother of Two boys and a person who isn't living if she isn't creating something. Which means my life is crazy and I am a bit scatterbrained.

I am in the middle of working on the Third Book in the Sherman Family Series.

The First Book Hunting JC and the Second book Tony's Haven
are currently available at Aspen Mountain Press

The Sherman Family series stories take place in and around Boston, but move to some of my favorite places in New England. Real Places that while I lived there I loved and frequented. Though some of the names might be changed the places exist and to anyone who knows the area they will know the places. Want to take a Sherman Tour of Boston. Come back over the next few weeks and I will take you on a photographic journey with the Shermans,

But first who the Heck are the Shermans?

The Shermans are a well to do New England Family who prove that money can't buy you happiness but love can conquer all. They are steadfast in their love of each other and their pursuits of the ones they love.  They are also Parrotheads through and through and only their love for the Red Sox might trump their love of Jimmy Buffett.

Boston

Meet The Shermans.

Jacinda Sherman: (Hunting JC) Feisty JC is the heroine of Hunting J.C. She has wanted Hunter for years and nothing is going to stop her now. She is the youngest of the Sherman clan.

Hunter Brooks: (Hunting JC) Hunter is the Hero of Hunting JC. Best friends with Tony Sherman. He came from nothing to get everything, now he just has to hold on to it.

Anthony Sherman: (Tony's Haven) Tony is older brother to J.C. and Hunters best friend. They met in college playing on the school Rugby team together and later became roommates. Too handsome for his own good, Tony has developed a reputation as a jokester and ladies man. Under Tony's carefree playboy appearance lies a complex and strong individual. It would take a strong heroine to plow beneath that armor.
Haven Pelletier (Tony's Haven) Haven is a strong Rubensesce woman who isn't bowled over by Tony's Handsome face and charms. She sees the man underneath flaws and all. (oh did I forget to mention she is a die hard Yankee's fan)

Spencer Sherman: (Spencer's Chance In process) Oldest of the Sherman siblings, Spencer is kind and strong. He believes in protecting his family at all cost but has yet to find the woman of his dreams. Spencer has taken the spot left vacant by is father in the family business.
Lucas Sherman: (Killing Lucas in process) Luc is the most bitter Sherman, his broken engagement has left him a pessimist and angry at the world. He is the second oldest Sherman and works in product developement for the family business.

Trenton Sherman: (Yet untitled Book) Is the youngest of the Sherman brothers. He is free loving and optimistic. He finds joy in everything he does. He is the most down to earth Sherman. Trenton owns his one search and rescue firm, he is an avide environmentalist.

Joseph Sherman: Patriarch of the Sherman Clan. Chose to be go into the medical field instead of taking the Seat on the Board meant for him at the Family Business.

Michelle Sherman: Matriarch of the Sherman Clan. A strong loving woman, who doesn't always see thru the facades her children put up for the world.

Kiloran O’Conner (Killing Lucas) Making her third appearance in the Sherman Family series as the heroine of Killing Lucas, the villain from the last two books who has made Lucas' life miserable, finally gets to tell her side of the story, check back to see if everything isn't always the way it seems.

  1. I keep thinking Gracie when looking at the puppy. Don't ask me why! Your books sound like fun reads. I'd love a copy of Hunting JC so my fingers are crossed.

  2. I think YAZ or Greenie (like "The Wall"?)

I'd like the first in the series.

    Thanks! Martha

  3. I think a good name would be YAZ or PRU (for the Pru Bldg?) or Greenie ("the" Wall?)

Love to have the first in the series.

    THanks--Martha

  5. For the dog, I'm thinking "Pop Top" from Margaritaville since I'm SURE it will be underfoot.

You are a new author to me so I just need to find the most logical place to start. ;-) Perhaps JC's book.

  6. Thank goodness you're not a Yankees fan. Hate them. I'm a Texas Rangers fan. Any woos....dog's name...Fenway. Not totally original but at least if he's favorite player got traded, he won't have to rename his dog.

You are a new to me author so I would start off with JC's book first.

    Also following your blog now.

  7. Hey, Dom,

I can't wait to read these. I LOVE series, where you can get to know a whole family and see characters again and again.

  9. You're a new author to me but your series sounds interesting. I'd definitely want to start with Hunting JC...but your description of Lucas kind of already makes me want to read Killing Lucas whenever that comes out (I love heroes that haven't had it easy in the love department up until they meet 'the one').

    As for the dog's name, I haven't a clue!

  10. Contest #1 - Are you kidding me? There is no other name for that dog but Varitek. He can be called Tek for short. He needs a macho name, not a parrothead name (sorry to you parrotheads, LOL)

Contest #2 - another no-brainer. I remember sitting on my bed, snuggled under the covers and devouring the WIP of Ms. Eastwick, Hunting JC, chapter by chapter. And then emailing her begging for the next ones! Hunting JC will most likely always be my favorite Sherman Brothers book!

  11. Hi for the puppy how about Sparky and
Contest #2... I can't decide which one is better, so I will just say I want them all :)

  18. I'd call that dog Jeter!

    Happy Anniversary!

  19. If the puppy is a girl, name her Margarita. If it is a boy, name him
James (for Buffet's dad) or Falcon (for the airplane Buffet flies). Boy or girl, you could name that sweet puppy Coral (for Buffet's Coral Reef band)

Since I am not read your series (YET!), I would start out with the first book, Hunting JC. I love books where it is a continuation of lesser characters from other books or of a family!

    Thank you for the giveaway!

  21. The dog is adorable! I have 3 little barkers.
A black Pom , his name is "Wolf". We rescued him from a puppy mill, so he needed a survivor name..*S*
A white cairn terrier/pom mix, her name is Miki Nanuk meaning little "polar bear"..she's just 4 pounds.
Miki's brother Maynard, who lives with us as his mommy, my daughter cannot have pets in her apartment...;( but we love him so much..*S*

Your cutey...."Tank". he needs a strong name as he just looks like a softy.

Thank you for the giveaway, and I just started the series. But I loved Hunting JC....*S*

Interesting a NC girl would set a story in New England- I went to Grad school in MA and would go to Boston a lot. I remember the Boston poem

Boston is the town of beans and scrod
Where the Lowells talk only to Cabots,:
And the Cabots talk only to God. ...

  30. For the puppy's name I am leaning towards Wakefield.

  31. If the pup's a girl, I'd say Margie for margaritaville. I love real names for dogs - my toy poodle's name is Stanley!

Your books look great, so I'd love to read one of them next!

  33. Hey Lady! It's been awhile, but I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for JC. ;D

As for the dog...he just looks like a "Wasted" to me. ;D I can just see him collapsed on the floor at his master's feet and lazily opening one eye, then rolling over on the back with the belly up and paws splayed doin' the whole margaritaville routine everytime the song comes on. LOL

And yes, you can use it if you like it...I just had this picture of him in my head in this formal study pulling this routine...too funny!

    Love you...Sondra

  34. Ace or Johnny B. Goode from Buffet's songs. I like Ace but Johnny is my favorite song to dance with my dad to so that works.

I like the Shermans - have since this was still in the early stages. I love Tony's story best so far though.

  35. Puppy: Fen

Book I most want to read - Tony's Haven

  39. As a new author to me, I have to say that all of your books sound great Dominique and I've added them to my TBB pile. However, out of all the books, Killing Lucas is the one that grabs me the most. For me, there's something about watching a hero who's been spurned by a former lover find and fall in love with their right match that I really enjoy.
