TOP 5 MOVIES THAT SCARED THE CRAP OUT OF ME....
Alright here are my top 5 horror Movies that scarred me for life. (seriously)
#5
Arachnophobia
I know really, yes I laughed but when the Spider was in the popcorn I left the theater,
And they broke the Cardinal Rule of Horror films they killed someone under the Blanket. Even Jason didn't take on the Blanket.
#4
When a Stranger Calls.
Are you kidding me I didn't ever babysit again.
Have I checked the children? HELL NO
The original scared me more but the only trailer I could find was from the remake.
#3
The Omen,
What isn't scary about a demonic child out to kill everyone?
#2
Jaws
Anyone who doesn't get a little creeped out in the ocean didn't see this, or like me didn't see it then fall a sleep on a water bed to be woken up screaming by a Cat jumping on the bed.
And the Number 1 is also one of my favorite, though one of the worst book adaptations ever!!!!!!!
THE SHINING
Need I say more.
Honorable Mention: I would have put Red Dragon or Silence of the Lambs on this list but the movies didn't scare me but the Books scared the crap out of me.
It won't scare you but the Wiccan Haus does have goolies and ghosties and things that go bump in the night.

Excellent list. I should have added Night of the living dead.
DeleteI'm the world's biggest chicken. The Omen and The Shinning were the only two my cowardliness would let me see. lol
ReplyDeleteLove your Wiccan books, Dom. Hope you have more in the works.
Have more just no time to write them....grrrr
DeleteThe original movie of The Manchurian Candidate.
ReplyDeleteOn my list to see haven't seen it yet.
DeleteI hate scary movies!
ReplyDeleteI hardly ever watch them, but I did see all from your list and think that The Shining was the scariest for me.
I also think Carrie [the original] was scary...The Exorcist....The Poltergeist...The Amityville Horror WAIT! I saw all those movies?! I can't believe my kids made me watch all these!
Have a great Halloween!
Mel
Look you have a top 5 too LOL Yeah all those freaked me out too.
DeleteLOL! I just noticed it too! And I'm not kidding when I tell you my kids made me watch all of them! I remember when The Interview with a Vampire came out, and on the opening night I was the mom designated to get the 14 yr olds in! OMG! Watched the movie through my fingers. Oh, and all the Allien movies, I was made to watch a marathon of 3 Allien movies before the opening night of the 4th! HOLY CRAP! So glad they're all grown up and out of the house!
DeleteMel
Mine are just at the age of wanting to see them all.
DeleteI still can't get 'Have you checked the children' out of my mind. Good list, Dom! Seen'em all and I agree. Thought the 80s 'An American Werewolf in London' was well done too. Happy Halloween!
ReplyDeleteAgree Werewolf was well done just didn't scar me for life LOL
DeleteGreat list of movies, though I've not seen "When a Stranger Calls." But they didn't scare me that much. "Interview with a Vampire," now that was scary (I'm a big fan of Anne Rice's older stuff). "The Shining" book scared the crap out of me. I'm with Melanie on "The Amityville Horror," "Poltergeist," and "The Changeling" rank up there for me. Fun discussion.
ReplyDeleteInterview didn't scare me but the shining Book oooh baby. Nightmareville.
