In My Humble Opinion Review of Infiltrating her Pack

Image
In My Humble Opinion: Infiltrating Her Pack (Black Hills Wolves #20) by ... : Blurb: The mysterious and intimidating lone wolf, Z, has returned to Los Lobos. Descended from a long line of gifted yet secretive ... A delightful surprise.  I’ve not read this author before and wasn’t sure from the blurb how this was going to fit in with the Black Hills Wolves.  But the author made it work and we have fun while she does.  I love watching to strong individuals fall for each other.  True these wolves have the chemical reaction from finding their “True Mate” but that only gets them together. Making it work is the fun part.  I got a kick out of the secondary characters as well. Thanks In My Humble Opinion

1st review is in for Earl and his Virgin Countess

The first review for The Earl and his Virgin Countess is in and thank you to    Deborah at Drue's Random Chatter's Reviews         "The Earl and his Virgin Countess by Dominique Eastwick was a quick read that I enjoyed very much. There is just enough steam and humor to make this short story a hit. I found myself laughing loudly at Miranda as her fiery temper got the better of her. It was also very amusing when her curiosity would get the better of her. Poor Andrew had no idea what hit him. What I liked most about this story is that Andrew (an earl) was not a complete ass as most others are portrayed. This was very refreshing. I give this book 5 stars. It was more than I was expecting and I look forward to reading more from this author. I find myself smiling every time I think about this book."   To check out this review and all their reviews click Here

4 Stars for Strawberry Kisses

Image
What a lovely surprise... it's always nice to get a review on a book, yet somehow sweeter when the book has been out for a couple of years. Madame Eve has done it again. Although short in length as all 1NS stories are, Strawberry Kisses does not disappoint. Mia was endearingly clumsy and Gavin dashing and handsome. These two characters deserved each other. An accidental meeting sets off a series of wants and desires for both characters that luckily works out in their benefit thanks to Madame Eve. Although the concept is for the parties involved to spent 1 night together and hopefully make a connection, anyone familiar with the series knows that Madame Eve is never wrong in her matches. Mia and Gavin are likeable characters. Far from explosive at first site, their first accidental meeting and everything that led up to their date was sweet in a way that not many short romances are. Rather than rush in to the sex, Eastwick takes the time to build some intimacy between the ch...

Night Owl Reviewer TOP PICK

The Duke and the Virgin   4 1/2 Stars         Dominique Eastwick pens a scorching hot Regency Romance with this fabulous short story and I am so thankful that she did! This story has so many of my favorite elements; the heroine is a curvy lady, the hero a sexy Alpha male and I love this particular time period and this particular series. Llysa Hamilton is an engaging heroine whom I instantly felt a connection with. I loved her nerve for taking advantage of Madame Eve's service. Wolfe is an impressive leading man who won me over right away and challenge Llysa for him if I thought I stood a chance. I honestly love traditional Regencies but I admit this erotic short story was a perfect excursion into the sensual and I cannot wait to make a return trip. I cannot wait to read more offerings like this one and I highly recommend this story for fans of this series or erotic historical romances. Llysa Hamilton knows that it is unlikely...

Parker's Passion FROM SABRINA YORK

Image
Sabrina York's Parker's Passion.    First I have to admit that I simply adore Sabrina York's writing and have loved all the books in the Tryst Island series so far. So I was excited to get a chance to review the 6th in the series. This one follows Kaitlin "the Psychic" but there is so much more to it then that. She is so in tuned with the feeling of others that she can read them. And then there is Parker who is scarred in so many ways he has cut out the world. A healer and one who needs healing could there be a more perfect team.   This like the other books I have read by Sabrina York is wonderfully written and the words just seem to flow off the page. This is not an easy book to read. When scars so very deep the pain is deeper. Sabrina makes the reader feel their pain, some part I found it hard to breath for Parker. If you are looking for a book that is an emotional ride, I highly suggest picking this one up. But I do suggest reading the others in th...

I learned a long time ago to never say 'it couldn't get any worse' since it usually does get  significantly worse. Apparently Lucas has also learned this. After his home is burned down and Kiloran comes forward saying it might be her stalker, the two of them are forced to be together in an attempt to bring this person down. Not only does Tony get involved, so do Spencer, Trenton, brother-in-law Hunter and even FBI Agent Vassar. I will admit I didn't like Kiloran at first, but as I read more about what really happened I began to like her. She's stronger than she seems and seeing as she's been dealing with this for years she is good at putting up a show of strength. Lucas doesn't know what to do about this. He's still wildly attracted to Kiloran but doesn't want to get back together with her, as she killed his heart.    With all the angst between the two we also have several attempts on lives, the entire Sherman family support, a knife attack, ...
